Frequently asked questions
What is a Provider Approval?
It is approval under the National Law that authorises a person or entity to operate education and care services. It applies nationally and is generally the first approval you obtain, before you can get a Service Approval for a specific centre.
Is a Provider Approval enough to open a centre?
No. You also need a Service Approval for your specific premises. Provider Approval approves you as an operator; Service Approval approves the individual centre. We manage both.
Why do Provider Approval applications get delayed or refused?
The most common causes are incomplete documentation, issues with the fit and proper person assessment, and not clearly establishing the persons with management or control. Getting the application right the first time is the single biggest factor in approval.
Do you manage the application, or just advise?
We manage it end to end: preparing the application, assembling the documentation, lodging it, and handling any requests for further information from your regulatory authority, so you can focus on the rest of your project.
